May17, 2011

Dear Residents,

A thief at large was being chased by a team of Delhi Police; managed to

intrude in the four walls of Platinum Enclave in the broad day

light(around 0230PM) yesterday i.e 16May 2011 . A thorough search

operation was launched by Delhi Police with the help of our Security

Guards and the inhabitants present to apprehend the culprit.

We are elated to apprise you that the thief was arrested by Delhi Police

but not without the heroic efforts of a brave resident-Mr. Pankaj Gaba

(58D), who could locate the thief hidden behind the water tanks installed

on the roof top of one of the column(s) and managed to capture alone prior

to handing over to Delhi Police.

Let us all extend our thanks & appreciation to Mr. Pankaj Gaba for his

bravery and take a resolve to be extra vigilant to keep an eye on any

suspected criminal having gained access inside our society.

In addition to this, all the residents of Platinum Enclave are requested

to take extra precaution while talking on Mobile hand set particularly in

isolated patches on the road as the Mobile handset snatching incidents and

other crimes involving teenagers are on the rise in various areas of the

city and one such unfortunate incidence took place yesterday with a young

lady resident of our society.

You are, therefore, requested to take extra precautionary measures to

avoid any such situation at your end. However, management of PERWA has

already reviewed security arrangements to ensure the safety and security

of the residents of Platinum Enclave.

Wish you all a safe & secured life ahead!

Festival of colours ‘Holi’

Sunday, the March20, 2011 the inhabitants of Platinum Enclave celebrated the festival of colours ‘Holi’ in the Children Park under the aegis of Residents’ Cultural Committee. An impressive attendance and participation of people of all ages, a great atmosphere was created by our youth and equally charged elders with great enthusiasm & performance beyond expectation made the congregation come alive and made it a great success.

The warm welcome shown by our resident members demonstrated that, even hundred of miles away from their respective native places, they hold close to their hearts the rich cultural values and traditions of India.

The celebration function was attended by our respected political patrons, Shri Jai Bhagwan (MLA) and Shri Vijay Prakash Pande (Corporator) from our Assembly constituency & Ward respectively and were highly impressed with what we are striving to achieve and commented encouraging on the initiative by the residents to host such functions.

The show started with the beats of dhol and it was great to witness so many young and old charged residents on the dance floor! People exchanged pleasantries and played Holi with each other by smearing dry colors and enjoyed the scrumptious lunch in the company of their family and friends.

All the resident members, who have come forward and contributed voluntarily & generously; deserve the due acknowledgment & gratitude in ensuring the success of the event.

Comments from many attendees were extremely positive and encouraging and it shall be our endeavour to bring you many more such function(s) in the near future ahead!

Thank you all for creating wonderful memories on this ‘Holi’ and surely, we all will cherish the same for long, in the times to come.

Looking ahead for your active participation and valued support & suggestions, always!

With warm regard

Residents’ Cultural Committee
